Shake Shack celebrates its five-year anniversary in the Philippines with a limited-time birthday menu, art collaborations, and new locations. The chain opened its first location in May 2019 and has expanded its menu to include chicken sandwiches, an exclusive Ube Shake, and limited-time culinary offerings. Shake Shack launched its own ordering site at shakeshack.ph.

“Reaching our 5-year milestone is an incredible achievement, and we owe it to our growing Shack community. We’ve been through a two-year global pause, and it was the hard work from our dedicated Shack teams and the continuous support from the Shack fans that kept us going and being the driving force behind our success. And for that, we’re truly grateful,” shares SSI Group, Inc. President and CEO Anton Huang.

Shake Shack is celebrating its big birthday with a limited-time birthday menu inspired by Filipino favorite Sisig. From May 10 to July 10, 2024, customers can enjoy local flavors at all Manila Shacks for dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and online ordering. The Crackle Shack Burger (P385) is a 100% all-natural Angus beef patty topped with sisig sauce, red onion, green chili, and crispy bagnet chicharron. The sisig sauce is a harmonious blend of savory, tangy, and slightly spicy flavors, reminiscent of sisig’s richness. The Crackle Shack Fries (P290) are crinkle-cut fries smothered with sisig sauce, red onion, spicy green chili, and crispy bagnet chicharron.

The limited-time offerings are named after Jose Simbillo, the winner of the Name that Burger Giveaway. To wash them down, customers can enjoy local thirst quenchers like Guava Lemonade (P170 for small and P210 for large) and ShackMeister Ale (P200, 330ml bottle), a light, hoppy beer brewed exclusively by Engkanto Brewery. Starting May 10, Shack fans across Metro Manila can enjoy the country-exclusive Uuube-by Baby Concrete (P270 for single and P375 for double), featuring vanilla frozen custard blended with ube, coconut creme, ube cookie, macapuno, sago pearls, and crispy pinipig, crowned with leche flan.

7 Apir! Shake Shack Philippines Turns Five

Shake Shack has partnered with Ayala Foundation Inc. to provide holistic educational programs for underserved Filipino children. The partnership aims to help students realize their full potential and contribute to national development. As part of its fifth year Anniversary campaign, Shake Shack collaborated with local illustrator and designer Jethro Olba for the Shack Meets Art: Shack X Centex Design Competition. The competition saw eight groups compete to design the newest Shack Swags, featuring the Shack Jeep and Shack Fiesta characters. Olba’s distinctive style, characterized by squiggly lines and pop culture, is complemented by a playful and nostalgic touch.

The winning design will be featured in Shack tees and sticker packs, with 5% of sales going to CENTEX from May 10 to 17. The creative collaboration is also featured on other Shack Anniversary swags, featuring fun tote bags and umbrellas, and on Crackle Shack menu packaging. Olba’s design depicts the joy and nostalgia associated with local fiestas, embracing diversity, inclusivity, and youth.
