The Unkabogable Superstar first introduced the song to viewers of “It’s Showtime” during the launch of the program’s returning pageant segment, “Miss Q&A: Reyna Talak-Era 2026.” Audiences got an early preview of the track’s energetic beat and catchy lyrics, which quickly resonated with fans.
“Talak” encourages listeners to embrace their voice, stand proudly in their truth, and express themselves without fear of judgment. The upbeat anthem reflects Vice Ganda’s signature message of empowerment, inclusivity, and self-confidence.
The song was written by Vice Ganda, Chris Lopez, and Kiko Salazar, while Chris Lopez and Jonathan Manalo served as producers. The project was supervised by Roque “Rox” Santos, head of ABS-CBN’s music label StarPop.
