TP in the Philippines (formerly Teleperformance), a global leader in digital business services, reinforced its commitment to nurturing Filipino talent through its active participation in the “Bridges to Success” Career Fair. Organized by National University (NU) in partnership with SM Offices, the event held at the SMX Convention Center brought together 3,500 graduating students from five NU campuses for a day of career development and industry immersion.
The fair served as a vital link between the academe and the corporate world, helping graduates navigate the transition from students to professionals through industry forums, panel discussions, and hands-on recruitment activities.
Redefining the “Experience” for Fresh Graduates
During the panel discussion titled “From Campus to Career,” TP leadership provided encouraging insights for first-time job seekers. Business Development Manager Deng Lopez emphasized that a candidate’s academic journey holds significant weight in interviews, providing a solid foundation for their professional start.
Complementing this, Recruitment Director Joan Gapol urged students to reframe their perspective on professional history.
“Do not think that you don’t have the experience,” Gapol emphasized. “The moment that you started your internship journey, it counts as the experience that employers are looking for.”
Interactive Career Hub: The TP Jeepney 2026 Caravan
A major highlight of the event was the official 2026 rollout of the TP Jeepney—an iconic, solar-powered modern vehicle parked outside the SMX Convention Center. The Jeepney served as a vibrant activity hub and a podcast center where NU and TP representatives discussed the evolving landscape of the work environment.
To provide practical value, TP professionals offered:
-
1-on-1 Practice Interviews: Real-time simulations to help students build confidence.
-
Skills Assessment: Personalized feedback and tips from expert recruiters on communication and professional presence.
Participating students, such as Samantha Implementa, described the experience as “eye-opening,” noting that the initiative helped replace the overwhelming feeling of a first job search with newfound confidence.
Driving Inclusive Employment
The participation marks the start of TP’s 2026 roadshow initiative, aimed at strengthening academic partnerships and showcasing the diverse opportunities within the advancing IT-BPM sector.
“We hope to engage with more academe partners this year and showcase to graduates the opportunities of working in an advancing environment,” said Rachel Cacabelos, TP Vice President of Human Resources.
TP plans to expand its presence in regional career fairs throughout the year, continuing its mission to support Filipino talent and drive inclusive employment opportunities nationwide.
