All roads led to the Araneta City complex from April 8 to 11, 2026, as SNICKERS® officially brought the heat to Manila with a high-energy campaign featuring MINGYU of the K-pop icon SEVENTEEN. As the brand’s Asia Ambassador, MINGYU headlined the “Active Lifestyle” campaign, designed to show how SNICKERS® recharges the energy of today’s busy youth.

The multi-day activation spanned an immersive pop-up at the Quantum Sky View of Gateway Mall 2 and culminated in an exclusive fan event at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, marking a landmark moment for the brand and Filipino fans alike.

The SNICKERS® Energy Station Pop-Up

For four days, Gateway Mall 2 was transformed into the SNICKERS® Energy Station, where visitors used “event passports” to navigate interactive activity zones inspired by the brand’s core ingredients and flavors:

  • SNICKERS® Shot Combo: A basketball challenge where participants scored in hoops representing milk chocolate, peanuts, caramel, and nougat.

  • SNICKERS® Flip and Match: A memory game featuring the brand’s diverse flavor lineup.

  • SNICKERS® Power Grab: A reflex-testing station where fans caught falling SNICKERS® bars.

  • Exclusive Rewards: Completing the passport earned fans sticker sheets, limited-edition tumblers, and a first taste of the new SNICKERS® Strawberry bar.

Fans also enjoyed Instagram-worthy photo zones and the SNICKERS® Shop, which debuted the highly coveted SNICKERS x MINGYU Transparent Card.

A Night to Remember: #SNICKERSwithMINGYU

The campaign reached its peak on the evening of April 11 at the “Big Dome.” Over 3,000 raffle winners and their companions filled the Smart Araneta Coliseum to welcome MINGYU for a night of interaction and high-octane fun.

During the event, MINGYU participated in a candid Q&A about his time in the Philippines and his role as Asia Ambassador. He showcased his athleticism in a basketball mini-game and shared his personal favorite SNICKERS® variants, highlighting the newly launched Strawberry flavor. In a touching moment, the crowd serenaded the K-pop star with a birthday song, complete with a celebratory cake, honoring his recent birthday.
