Taguig City, Philippines — January 22, 2026 — The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) officially inducted its new 2026 leadership team, led by Chairman Engr. Francis Richmond Z. Villegas and National President Kerwin V. Padua, signaling a year focused on supporting developers and advancing the 4PH housing program.

The new leadership comes as the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) implements key reforms, including adjusted price ceilings: ₱950,000 for horizontal developments and ₱1.8 million for vertical units. SHDA aims to help private developers deliver around 250,000 housing units in 2026 through compliance guidance, project planning support, and knowledge sharing.

SHDA’s 2026 agenda includes fostering policy coordination, strengthening private-sector participation, and supporting quality and affordable housing aligned with government targets. Programs include an annual Golf Cup on March 26, 2026, and a study tour of selected Asian countries to benchmark best practices in housing and urban development.

“The goal is to help members turn government policies into tangible housing outputs,” said SHDA National President Padua. “Innovation, project planning, and knowledge exchange are key to navigating the evolving housing landscape.”

SHDA 2026 Board of Governors includes Atty. Marianne Reyna L. Cruz (1st VP), Mr. Arnold Leigh Ryan Choa (2nd VP), Atty. Mena R. Ojeda Jr. (Corporate Secretary), and other key officers and regional chapter heads spanning Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

As the country’s leading association of horizontal and vertical housing developers, SHDA continues to collaborate with government agencies and industry partners to build inclusive, sustainable, and resilient communities nationwide.

Developers and stakeholders can join SHDA’s membership program for policy support and industry collaboration. More information is available at SHDA Membership or via email at [email protected].
