Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) has partnered with Disney Cruise Line to launch A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line, a three-month island-wide celebration that transforms Sentosa into an immersive Disney-inspired destination from June 24 to Sept. 20, 2026.
The large-scale collaboration is the first of its kind for Sentosa, bringing beloved Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories to life across the island through themed attractions, interactive installations, and nighttime experiences inspired by the Disney Adventure cruise ship’s seven themed areas.
Designed as a day-to-night event, the experience combines light displays, sound, interactive play zones, and scenic landscapes across Sentosa’s beaches, attractions, and nature trails. As evening falls, illuminated installations transform the island into a vibrant nighttime destination.
For the first time, the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia will extend its operating hours until 10 p.m., allowing guests to enjoy a dedicated after-dark program.
Seven themed experiences across Sentosa
Visitors can explore the island at their own pace using an event passport, collecting commemorative medallion stamps inspired by Disney Adventure’s themed areas while visiting attractions across Sentosa.
Stops include the Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line, Sensoryscape, Central Beach Bazaar, Palawan Beach, The Palawan, and the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia.
Each destination features installations inspired by Disney Adventure’s seven themed zones, including Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, and Marvel Landing.
Disney magic begins before reaching the island
The experience starts even before visitors arrive on Sentosa.
Beginning in early July, the Sentosa Express monorail will feature Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse-themed exterior wraps, welcoming guests from VivoCity and setting the tone for the adventure ahead.
The Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line also joins the celebration with themed cabins inspired by Disney Discovery Reef and Toy Story Place, while all three cable car stations showcase Disney character photo installations.
Southernmost Point transformed after dark
One of Sentosa’s most iconic landmarks becomes an immersive nighttime attraction inspired by Disney Discovery Reef and Wayfinder Bay.
Guests will encounter glowing manta ray installations, ocean-themed lighting, and decorative elements inspired by Disney favorites such as Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, and Moana.
Visitors can also purchase a special night admission ticket that includes an interactive exploration activity, four collectible embossed stamps, and a limited-edition Disney Adventure postcard.
Palawan Beach becomes the heart of the celebration
Palawan Beach serves as the centerpiece of the event with attractions inspired by San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, and Marvel Landing.
Guests are welcomed by a six-meter inflatable anchor installation alongside Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse sculptures.
The San Fransokyo Street area features a towering Baymax inflatable, themed lounge spaces, food trucks, and retail stalls.
Nearby, Toy Story Place transforms part of the beach into a family-friendly play area complete with oversized character inflatables of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Bullseye, along with a splash pad-inspired attraction illuminated at night.
At The Palawan, Marvel fans can enjoy installations inspired by attractions aboard the Disney Adventure, including Ironcycle Test Run and Groot Galaxy Spin, complemented by neon-lit displays after sunset.
Sensoryscape celebrates Disney princesses
At Central Beach Bazaar, guests can view a 3.5-meter Magical Compass installation representing Disney Adventure’s seven themed areas.
Meanwhile, Sensoryscape transforms into a royal promenade inspired by Town Square, featuring 13 princess-themed hammock installations showcasing beloved Disney heroines including Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Merida, Mulan, Raya, and Snow White.
The venue also features a five-meter Disney Cruise Line topiary installation within Tactile Trellis, while dynamic lighting displays create a different atmosphere after dark.
Annual destination experience
SDC Chief Executive Officer Thien Kwee Eng said the collaboration opens a new chapter for Sentosa by combining immersive storytelling with world-class entertainment.
“A Magical Island Adventure brings forth a new chapter for Sentosa, one that shows the endless possibilities when world-class collaborations are built around a strong narrative and a shared vision,” she said.
Disney Cruise Line Vice President and Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia Sarah Fox said the collaboration extends the cruise experience beyond the ship by bringing Disney storytelling to one of Singapore’s most popular destinations.
Singapore Tourism Board Assistant Chief Executive for Experience Development Group Jean Ng added that the event strengthens Singapore’s lineup of family-friendly attractions and offers visitors new ways to experience Sentosa.
Exclusive merchandise and cruise perks
Guests can also purchase an exclusive merchandise collection developed for the event, including tumblers, eco bags, towels, and keychains inspired by both Sentosa and Disney Cruise Line.
UOB cardholders who spend a minimum amount during the event can also receive limited-edition glow-in-the-dark medallion pins while supplies last.
Meanwhile, guests sailing aboard Disney Adventure between June 24 and Oct. 1, 2026, can enjoy complimentary admission to one participating Sentosa attraction.
Cruise passengers with bookings made during the promotional period will also receive 15% discounts on Southernmost Point night admission tickets and Sentosa Fun Discovery Pass bundles.
Sentosa said the summer celebration is envisioned as the first edition of an annual platform featuring new collaborations and refreshed experiences in the years ahead.
