Las Vegas — January 4, 2026 — Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. unveiled its latest vision, “Companion to AI Living,” at The First Look during CES® 2026 in Las Vegas. Framing AI as both philosophy and foundation, Samsung showcased how artificial intelligence now connects its product development, operations, and user experience across its ecosystem.
Opening the event, TM Roh, CEO and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, emphasized the company’s leadership in AI-enabled, connected technologies. By embedding AI across mobile devices, displays, home appliances, and services, Samsung aims to deliver more personal, meaningful experiences that go beyond basic functionality. “Samsung is building a more unified, more personal experience across categories,” Roh said.
In the entertainment space, Samsung introduced its next-generation AI-powered displays, led by the 130-inch Micro RGB TV, a breakthrough in scale and picture quality. Powered by individually lit red, green, and blue diodes and the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, the display delivers unprecedented color precision within a refined, gallery-like design. Enhancing the experience is Vision AI Companion (VAC), which acts as a smart entertainment partner—offering personalized recommendations for viewing, dining, and music through simple voice commands.
Samsung also unveiled new sound innovations, including Music Studio 5 and 7 WiFi speakers, alongside an expanded 2026 TV lineup supporting HDR10+ ADVANCED and the brand’s new Eclipsa Audio spatial sound system. For gamers, Samsung revealed its most advanced Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, headlined by the world’s first 6K 3D Odyssey G9.
Beyond entertainment, Samsung highlighted AI-powered home solutions, from smart refrigerators with upgraded AI Vision to laundry and garment-care appliances designed to simplify daily routines. Anchored by its most powerful Tizen OS yet—with seven years of upgrades—Samsung’s vision positions AI as a true everyday companion, seamlessly supporting life at home and beyond.
