Salesforce and Anthropic have announced Claudeforce, an expanded strategic partnership that combines Claude’s advanced reasoning capabilities with Salesforce’s enterprise data, workflows, business logic, actions, and governance.
The partnership launches with Salesforce in Claude, a plugin featuring 37 prebuilt sales skills designed to help sellers and agents work directly with live Salesforce data. Capabilities include meeting preparation, deal health reviews, pipeline analysis, and automated pipeline updates, allowing users to take governed actions without leaving Claude.
Powered by Salesforce’s AIforce enterprise harness, the integration connects business data and workflows to AI agents through MCP servers, APIs, and CLI tools. Salesforce and Anthropic say the goal is to move beyond traditional software interfaces by allowing AI agents to directly access enterprise systems and perform work within established business rules.
“Claudeforce” also brings Claude into Salesforce itself. Claude is available through Agentforce, where it serves as a reasoning model for the Atlas Reasoning Engine, Agentforce Vibes, Agentforce Coworker, and Agent Builder. Through Amazon Bedrock, Claude can also operate within the Salesforce Trust Boundary, supporting organizations with strict security and regulatory requirements.
The expanded partnership extends to Slack, where Claude will serve as the default model across Slack’s AI experiences. Teams can use Claude to reason through complex decisions and execute governed actions in Salesforce directly from their existing workflows.
The companies are also adopting each other’s technologies internally. Salesforce will make Claude Code and Claude Enterprise available to its developers and knowledge workers, while Claude powers Slackbot and other Salesforce AI experiences.
Salesforce in Claude is currently available to select pilot customers, with an open beta expected in September 2026. Additional prebuilt skills are scheduled to begin rolling out in Q3 2026.
