Independent label Offshore Music has partnered with award-winning illustrator and comics creator Rob Cham to release a special limited-edition merchandise line celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Eraserheads’ iconic album Fruitcake.

The highlight of the collaboration is a limited-edition T-shirt featuring Cham’s contemporary reinterpretation of the album’s whimsical visual world, offering fans a fresh entry point into one of the most beloved works in Philippine music history.

Known for his distinct storytelling style, Cham approached the project as both homage and reinterpretation.

“I wanted to do my take on the storybook while also keeping it something that people would see and be curious about what the album is about,” Cham shared. He added that revisiting the album, storybook, and music videos helped him capture its imaginative energy and characters.

As Fruitcake marks its 30th anniversary, Cham hopes the merchandise encourages both longtime fans and new listeners to rediscover the album.

“I hope people give the album another listen and reconnect with their memories of Filipino Christmas,” he said. “For those discovering it for the first time, I hope they experience it from start to finish and find something new.”

Originally released in 1996, Fruitcake is widely regarded as the Eraserheads’ Christmas concept album, featuring 22 English-language tracks that follow a narrative journey through the fictional Fruitcake Heights—cementing its status as a cult classic in OPM history.

The limited-edition Rob Cham x Fruitcake 30th Anniversary collection will launch at the Offshore Music Bazaar on June 26, 2026, at Thai Mookata, Makati City, coinciding with the Fête de la Musique Indie Stage.
