Kapamilya singer-actress Maymay Entrata celebrates the beauty of choosing love every day in the newly released music video for her latest single, “What We Love,” featuring her real-life partner Joaquin Enriquez.
The music video follows the couple on a simple getaway, capturing intimate and joyful moments that reflect the song’s central message: love is more than a feeling—it is a choice people continue to make despite life’s challenges.
“This song is for the memories that still make you smile, the moments that still feel like home, and the kind of love that stays. Because with the right person, love is something you choose every single day,” Maymay shared on social media.
Maymay co-wrote the dance-pop track with Nhiko Sabiniano, Trisha Denise, and Greg Shilling. She is also set to perform the song live at Barrio Fiesta Caravan 2026 in Birmingham, United Kingdom, on July 12 and at “ASAP Australia” on July 25.
Following empowering releases such as “AMAKABOGERA,” “Puede Ba,” “Tsada Mahigugma,” “Paradise,” and “Masunog Man,” Maymay continues to showcase her growth as a singer-songwriter through music rooted in personal and relatable experiences.
Beyond her music career, Maymay has steadily expanded her presence on the international stage. She appeared on Spotify’s EQUAL Times Square billboard in 2023 and was featured in the Recording Academy’s “It Goes to 11” original series.
In 2024, she made her Paris Fashion Week debut, where she performed the English version of “AMAKABOGERA” on the runway. She was also selected by Disney Southeast Asia to perform “Nasaan ang Hiling” from the “Snow White” soundtrack and later served as a guest mentor on “Dream Maker.”
Maymay was nominated for Best Asia Act at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards and became the first Filipina to walk at Arab Fashion Week, further strengthening her reputation as one of the Filipino artists gaining recognition internationally.
