What if love could find its way through time—and through the different versions of who we become? Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto reunite on the big screen for “Always Yours, Never Mine,” a sweeping romantic drama that explores love, destiny, choices, and the lives we build along the way.

Opening in Philippine cinemas on September 30, the latest Star Cinema film is directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, with a screenplay by Vanessa R. Valdez. Joshua and Julia portray Apollo and Luna, whose story unfolds across three decades and takes audiences through different stages and seasons of their lives.

A Love Story That Spans Three Decades

Rather than focusing only on romance, the film looks at how love can shape—and sometimes challenge—the people we are meant to become.

“Always Yours, Never Mine” asks a poignant question: Can loving someone so deeply ever keep them from becoming who they are meant to be?

Valdez describes the film as more than a love story, calling it a life story about the way people love, the choices they make, and even the choices they leave unexplored.

The film also features Bianca Umali, Chandra Romero, Joy Barcoma, Bob Jbeili, Karen Reyes, Migs Almendras, Paulo Angeles, Ina Raymundo, Franco Laurel, Reign Parani, and Jan Silverio.
