Rising OPM band It All Started In May marked a major milestone in their young career by celebrating their second anniversary with fans through a sold-out event, “Saan Nagsimula? – Ikalawang Anibersaryo,” held on May 29, 2026, at The Millas Cafe in Cubao, Quezon City.

The special gathering commemorated two significant occasions for the band: their second year since forming in May 2024 and the first anniversary of their debut single, “O’ Kay Tamis,” which has already surpassed one million streams on Spotify.

The band described the celebration as a way of sharing their achievements with the fans who have continuously supported their music and journey.

Launch of New Single

The anniversary event also served as the official launch of their newest single, “Di Ko Man Masambit,” which was released on the same day.

Shortly after its release, the song landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday Philippines playlist before making its way onto the platform’s All New OPM and .ph playlists, signaling a strong start for the track.

Special Performances and Exclusive Fan Treats

The evening featured performances from It All Started In May, alongside special sets from fellow artists Ian Quiruz and Shirebound.

Fans who attended the event were also given an exclusive first look at the music videos for “Paraiso” and “Di Ko Man Masambit,” both of which are now available on the Universal Records Philippines YouTube channel.

Also present during the celebration were fellow Universal Records artists brei and P-pop girl group FINA, whose member Heaven stars in the music video for “Paraiso.”

A Busy Year Ahead

The celebration came amid an increasingly busy schedule for the band.

The day after their anniversary event, It All Started In May performed at the HONOR 600 Series First Day Sale at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall before heading to another gig at Jess & Pat’s later that evening.

The band’s momentum continues into June, with performances scheduled at:

  • Mojica’s Jardin
  • E-Tunes in Cavite
  • Jess & Pat’s
  • Takeover Katipunan
  • 123 Block
  • Various venues in Baguio

With a growing fanbase, streaming success, and a packed calendar of performances, It All Started In May continues to establish itself as one of the country’s most promising young bands, proving that their journey is only just beginning.
