Singaporean singer Iman Fandi enters a new chapter of her artistry with “IT IS,” her latest single now available on digital music platforms worldwide.

Bold, playful, and self-assured, the track delivers a message of feminine confidence and self-worth, centered on knowing your value and letting actions speak louder than promises. Rather than seeking validation or waiting to be chosen, “IT IS” celebrates a woman who is confident in who she is and refuses to make herself smaller for anyone else.

“This is something I have personally learned throughout my life,” Iman shares. She describes the song as both a statement of confidence and a playful response to those who wonder whether the track is about them. “If you think it is about you, maybe it is.”

That mischievous spirit gives “IT IS” its personality, presenting Iman as an artist increasingly comfortable with expressing herself on her own terms.

The release follows a pivotal year for the singer, who began 2026 as an independent artist after parting ways with Universal Music. She performed at major events including Light to Night and the Kallang Countdown, before making her historic halftime show debut at the AFC Asian Cup match between Singapore and Bangladesh.

As the daughter of Singapore football icon Fandi Ahmad, the stadium performance carried particular significance, connecting her musical journey with her family’s sporting and cultural legacy.

Ahead of “IT IS,” Iman also collaborated with P-pop group KAIA and RAMONA, the musical alter ego of actress and singer-songwriter Andrea Brillantes. The collaborations will roll out across TikTok throughout August, building on the single’s momentum in Singapore through content with fellow National Day Parade performers Jasmine Sokko and Gareth Fernandez.

Iman first teased “IT IS” during the reopening of Zouk Singapore in July. She also performed “Giants” at this year’s National Day Parade, reaching a 42,000-strong audience at the National Stadium and viewers nationwide.

The momentum continues with her first performance at Singapore Indoor Stadium at the end of August, followed by a school tour bringing “IT IS” to students across Singapore.

Now fully independent, Iman is shaping the next phase of her career through music that reflects growth, resilience, and self-confidence. Following her 2026 singles “Tip Toes” and “Out Of My Mind,” “IT IS” marks another step toward her highly anticipated debut independent EP, Afterglow.
