HUAWEI, in partnership with multi-sports facility Pretty Huge, brought fitness enthusiasts together at the HUAWEI Fit Fest, an immersive community workout experience designed to celebrate movement, recovery, and the power of community.

The event featured a dynamic lineup of activities, including the HUAWEI Community Run, a guided stretching and recovery session, and a high-intensity Fitness Challenge. Throughout the experience, participants had the opportunity to explore how smart technology can support every stage of their fitness journey.

Adding an innovative edge to the event, HUAWEI integrated its latest wearable and audio devices—including the HUAWEI FreeClip 2, HUAWEI Band 11, HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5, HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, and HUAWEI WATCH GT 6—across different activities.

The HUAWEI Fit Fest welcomed the Founders Run Club, fitness enthusiasts and creators, HUAWEI Campus Ambassadors, and members of the local running community. Together, participants experienced firsthand how connected technology can help Filipinos move smarter, train more effectively, and stay motivated toward their wellness goals.

For participants, the experience highlighted how comfort and reliable performance can make a difference during workouts.

“The HUAWEI Wearable devices made me feel excited and inspired to join the Fit Fest experience as it allowed me to track my activity through the watch. What made the most impact for me are its comfortability and reliability,” said HUAWEI Fit Fest participant Jacob Evan Caballa. “As someone who does physical activities daily, I find importance in how these Wearables can support me and make me feel comfortable even during intense activities.”

Aliah Venice Garcia likewise shared how the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 supported her throughout the event. “The WATCH FIT was incredibly light and comfortable on my wrist, so I barely noticed I was wearing it. It felt so secure, I was able to focus more on what I was doing instead of thinking about my gear.”

A Lighter Way to Move with HUAWEI FreeClip 2

Supporting participants through every activity was the HUAWEI FreeClip 2, designed to deliver an immersive audio experience while allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings.

Its innovative Airy C-Bridge design, made with soft liquid silicone and shape-memory alloy, provides a secure “Never Feel, Never Fall” fit that stays comfortably in place during runs, stretching sessions, and high-intensity workouts.

During the 3K and 5K community runs, participants experienced the freedom of open-ear listening, allowing them to enjoy music and audio cues while remaining aware of fellow runners, coaches, and their surroundings. Its lightweight construction is designed for extended comfort across different activities, while its IP57 water resistance provides added durability during sweat-intensive workouts and changing outdoor conditions.

Beyond fitness, the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 also offers AI-powered sound optimization, adaptive listening, enhanced call clarity, dual-device connectivity, gesture controls, and up to 38 hours of battery life with its charging case.

Smarter Tracking for Every Workout

HUAWEI’s wearable devices complemented the event by giving participants real-time performance insights and comprehensive sports and health tracking.

During the community run, participants tried the HUAWEI Band 11 and HUAWEI Band 11 Pro, both featuring slim, lightweight designs suited for all-day wear. The devices track key metrics such as pace, distance, heart rate, and recovery, helping users better understand their performance and build more consistent training habits. The Band 11 Pro also comes with built-in GPS for accurately recording outdoor activities without requiring a smartphone.

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 was also put through its paces across running, rowing, and strength-focused challenges. Its square design, wide range of sports modes, GPS capabilities, performance metrics, and AI-powered health insights demonstrated its versatility as an everyday fitness companion.

For those who prefer a traditional round smartwatch, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series offers comprehensive sports and health tracking, running-form analysis, and up to 21 days of battery life. Its outdoor-focused capabilities also drew the attention of cycling enthusiasts interested in more advanced training tools.

Dedicated runners and marathon athletes, meanwhile, explored the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, which features AI-powered ultra-precise GPS, real-time pace guidance, lactate-threshold insights, race-performance predictions, and detailed post-run analysis. These features are designed to help runners train more intelligently and prepare with greater confidence for race day.

The experience also extended beyond the event, with participants able to sync their workout data seamlessly to Strava on both iOS and Android, making it easier to review, track, and share their performance after the HUAWEI Fit Fest.

“For anyone looking to support their active lifestyle or launch a wellness journey, the HUAWEI Wearables and Audio ecosystem offers exceptional build quality and cross-platform compatibility (iOS and Android),” said HUAWEI Fit Fest attendee Leira. She particularly highlighted the built-in GNSS tracking, which allowed her to record outdoor runs accurately without carrying a smartphone.

Where Technology Meets Community

Through the HUAWEI Fit Fest, HUAWEI and Pretty Huge demonstrated how technology and community can come together to create a more engaging fitness experience.

From the first kilometer of a run to post-workout recovery, smart devices can provide insights that help users understand their performance, stay motivated, and work toward their personal goals. At the same time, the shared experience of training alongside fellow fitness enthusiasts adds a sense of connection that makes an active lifestyle more enjoyable and sustainable.

As more Filipinos embrace fitness and wellness, HUAWEI continues to explore ways technology can make movement more connected, accessible, and rewarding.
