Grand Westside Manila Bay is inviting guests to unwind by the pool as Plunge Bar rolls out weekend dining and entertainment experiences designed for families, friends, and after-work gatherings.
Located on the hotel’s fifth-floor Open Deck, Plunge Bar offers a relaxed poolside setting where guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, grilled specialties, live music, and open-air dining away from the city’s busy nightlife.
The venue aims to provide a welcoming space for casual dinners, weekend meetups, and evening drinks while reflecting the hotel’s focus on creating memorable experiences beyond overnight stays.
Grill & Rhythm every Saturday
Every Saturday, Plunge Bar hosts Grill & Rhythm, an al fresco dining experience featuring freshly grilled dishes paired with live acoustic performances.
Executive Chef Christopher Lugtu curated the menu around dishes designed for sharing, highlighting grilled meats, seafood, premium sausages, and Filipino favorites.
“Great food doesn’t need to be complicated,” Lugtu said. “The inspiration behind Grill & Rhythm was simple—to create a menu that people would enjoy sharing. Whether it’s perfectly grilled meats, fresh seafood, or familiar Filipino favourites, every dish is prepared with the hope that guests leave not only satisfied, but with memories of time well spent around the table.”
Guests can choose from grilled skewers, bourbon ribs, pork barbecue, chicken inasal, pork belly, stuffed squid, and other specialties, with each order accompanied by a choice of side dishes.
Grill & Rhythm is available every Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with prices starting at ₱700 nett, while additional skewers and side dishes are available for sharing.
Monthly Sip ‘n Splash pool party
On the last Saturday of every month, Plunge Bar transforms into a lively poolside venue for Sip ‘n Splash, featuring handcrafted cocktails, curated bar bites, live DJ performances, flair bartending, and special prizes.
Held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the monthly event offers guests a vibrant weekend gathering beside the pool, with admission priced at ₱1,500 nett per person.
