Manila, Philippines — January 7, 2025Grab Philippines celebrated the country’s top-performing restaurants and retailers at the Golden Grab Awards 2025, recognizing merchant-partners that have set the “Gold Standard” in today’s increasingly integrated online-to-offline economy.

Leading the night’s top honors were homegrown milk tea brand Serenitea, named GrabFood Merchant of the Year for National Brands, JT’s Manukan Grille, which took the title for Nationwide Chains, and Oh Mango, awarded Merchant of the Year for Citywide Merchants in Metro Manila.

The ceremony, attended by hundreds of Grab merchant-partners nationwide, highlighted Grab’s evolution from a delivery platform into a full ecosystem that supports growth across both digital and physical storefronts. EJ dela Vega, Grab Philippines Head of Deliveries and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized Grab’s commitment to being a long-term partner for merchants, noting that trust is built “day by day, order by order.”

Excellence across categories was also recognized. Caramia Cakes & Gelato and 24 Chicken were honored for quality and reliability, while Ever Supermarket and Cion’s Meat Shop led GrabMart reliability awards. The coveted 5-Star Eats distinction spotlighted beloved community favorites including Mylene’s Ensaymada and Banana Cake, Paya Street Coffee, Quarantea, and CBS Kitchen.

Retail leadership and innovation were also in focus, with Pet Express, Watsons, and Robinsons Supermarket recognized as Category Captains, while Southstar Drug, Davao Central Convenience Store, McDonald’s, and Chowking were honored for marketing and data-driven innovation.
