Globe turned its 10th GDay anniversary into a celebration of family, connection, and nostalgia with the launch of its first-ever GDay Family Day. The newly renovated Museo Pambata became a lively playground where millennial parents revisited the museum of their childhood while introducing their own kids to its wonder, paired with a Disney+ film marathon of timeless favorites.
“This wasn’t just a reunion—it was a heartfelt celebration of family, connection, and shared joy,” said Roche Vandenberghe, Globe Chief Marketing Officer. Globe mobile and Globe At Home customers, along with their loved ones, enjoyed a curated lineup of activities including tickets to Philippine Biodome + Ocean Park, Hotel H2O stays, Ayala Cinema vouchers, and passes to Disney On Ice: Magic in the Stars. Adding to the fun, Max’s Restaurant, Jamba Juice, and Krispy Kreme kept families fueled with treats, drinks, and surprises throughout the day.
Learning and safety were also at the forefront. Children aged 7–14 engaged in sessions with Khan Academy Philippines, Globe’s Digital Thumbprint Program, and the Safe Spaces book initiative, gaining insights on cybersecurity, data privacy, and responsible internet use.
In a move that highlighted inclusivity, Globe extended the celebration to children from underserved communities through Project PEARLS, offering museum tours, movie marathons, face painting, and hands-on activities that sparked joy and curiosity.
“GDay Family Day reminded us that family isn’t just a household—it’s shaped by the communities we uplift together,” said Denisse Arao, Director for Marketing, Family Segment at Globe. Through shared experiences, meaningful partnerships, and inclusive fun, Globe turned everyday moments into GDay moments worth celebrating.
