EdgePoint Infrastructure (“EdgePoint”), a leading ASEAN-based independent telecommunications infrastructure company, through its subsidiary EdgePoint Towers Inc., has partnered with Globe Telecom, Inc. (“Globe”) to supply Direct Current (DC) Power Systems for Globe sites across the Philippines.
This 10-year energy partnership consolidates Globe’s passive tower infrastructure needs—including towers, power systems, and operations and maintenance—under a single, integrated provider. By streamlining operations, enhancing cost efficiency, and strengthening network stability, the collaboration ensures reliable telecommunications services while supporting Globe’s long-term infrastructure planning.
William Walters, CEO of EdgePoint Philippines, said, “This partnership builds on our commitment to Globe by supporting their network expansion and business growth. Together, we will provide integrated solutions that enhance operational efficiency, energy resilience, and sustainability for telcos in the Philippines.”
Carlo Puno, CFO of Globe Telecom, added, “Collaboration drives progress. This alliance enables us to strengthen our network resiliency and operational efficiency while ensuring reliable and sustainable power access—critical for delivering world-class connectivity and a more inclusive, resilient Philippines.”

Under the partnership, EdgePoint Philippines will deploy and maintain DC power systems, including rectifiers and battery storage solutions, on sites where Globe co-locates its active telecom equipment. EdgePoint currently operates over 3,000 telecom sites nationwide for all major mobile network operators, including 20 solar-hybrid sites.
This partnership reinforces both companies’ commitment to sustainable, reliable, and efficient telecommunications infrastructure in the Philippines.
