Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR) has opened its newest branch at West Gallery Place in Bonifacio Global City, bringing its signature specialty coffee, all-day dining, and welcoming café experience to one of Metro Manila’s busiest commercial districts.

The new location continues the brand’s focus on creating spaces where guests can gather, work, or unwind while enjoying specialty-grade coffee and thoughtfully prepared meals. It also introduces a pair of limited-time beverages inspired by familiar Filipino flavors.

Filipino classics reimagined

To mark the opening, CMCR has launched its Homegrown Classics collection, a seasonal lineup that reinterprets traditional Filipino favorites through coffee.

Among the featured drinks is the Batirol Espresso, created by CMCR barista Jay Salvacion. Inspired by the rich chocolate flavor of traditional tablea, the beverage combines espresso, chocolate, and toasted marshmallow for a warm, nostalgic take on the classic drink.

Also joining the menu is the Samalamig Latte, developed by two-time Barista Challenge winner Andy Manuel. Drawing inspiration from the popular Filipino street refreshment, the drink blends muscovado banana syrup, espresso, milk, and green gulaman into a modern café beverage.

The Homegrown Classics collection is available for a limited time at CMCR’s West Gallery Place branch in Bonifacio Global City and its Ayala Triangle Gardens store in Makati.

Alongside the seasonal offerings, customers can continue to enjoy the café’s signature beverages, including the Nitro Honey Oat Latte, as well as its all-day menu featuring favorites such as the Common Man Full Breakfast, Common Man Burger, Prawn Mac & Cheese, and Mushroom Avocado Toast.

Specialty coffee and all-day dining

CMCR continues to highlight specialty-grade coffee sourced from established coffee-growing regions and roasted in small batches to maintain quality and consistency. The new café also features an in-house roastery, allowing guests to gain a closer appreciation of the coffee-making process from bean to cup.

Located at West Gallery Place, the café is designed to accommodate a variety of guests, from professionals looking for a productive workspace to friends meeting over brunch or coffee.

The bright, pet-friendly space offers WiFi, accessible power outlets, and flexible seating arrangements suitable for both short visits and extended stays. It also features communal dining areas that can accommodate private gatherings and corporate events.
