Cobra Energy Drink has launched a significant initiative in partnership with TESDA NCR – PAMAMARISAN District Office and DOLE-TUPAD, titled “Tatag sa Pagtupad ng Pangarap Kasama ang TESDA Program,” aimed at supporting the ambitions of hardworking Filipinos. This program exemplifies Cobra’s commitment to being more than just a beverage; it positions itself as a partner in the community’s resilience and success. As part of this initiative, 29 beneficiaries from the #TeamLakas received complimentary technical-vocational training and TESDA competency assessments, along with a Cobra “Panimula Kit” to aid them in establishing sustainable careers and small businesses. This effort is particularly significant for individuals who are underemployed, unemployed, or displaced due to the pandemic, as it offers them opportunities to rebuild their lives and pursue their dreams.

The scholars’ journeys were not easy, but their determination embodied the true spirit of lakas.
Judy Baliwag Lomboy, who pursued Bread and Pastry Production after facing financial struggles, found renewed strength in the program. “Naging inspiration ko para tapusin ang aking kurso ang aking pamilya at mga kaibigan sa buhay,” Judy shared. “Ako’y lubos na nagpapasalamat sa pagkakataon na maging matagumpay sa aking tinatahak na landas.”

Jennelbel Amulat, a Housekeeping course graduate, now carries the confidence to work abroad and explore business opportunities. “Dahil po sa programa ng Cobra, TESDA, at DOLE-TUPAD, makakapagsimula ulit ako sa aking hanapbuhay. Pinapangako ko po na hindi ko sasayangin ang programang ito at gagawin ko ang lahat upang magtagumpay sa buhay. Para sa kapwa kong #TeamLakas, laban lang tayo.

Jonalyn Yarra Abogado, also a Housekeeping graduate, now balances part-time work while applying for overseas jobs. “Maraming, maraming salamat sa Cobra at sa lahat ng parte ng programang ito dahil hindi sila nagdalawang-isip na tumulong sa aming nangangailangan. Salamat sa tulong at kaalaman para maisakatuparan ang aming mithiin.”

Each TESDA National Certificate awarded was more than a credential—it symbolized new beginnings, and the power to shape a brighter tomorrow. Complementing this, the Cobra “Panimula Kit” equipped graduates with the practical tools they needed to take their first steps toward livelihood and independence.

Through these stories, Cobra Energy Drink reaffirms its conviction that every Filipino has the strength to overcome challenges and achieve success. The initiative is a testament to Cobra’s commitment to fueling not only energy but also ambition, growth, and opportunity. “It was very humbling to see their determination up close,” shared Jonsell Del Mundo, Assistant Brand Manager of Cobra Energy Drink. “We witnessed how, with the right support, they could rebuild their confidence and take the first steps toward their dreams. It motivates us in Cobra to keep creating programs that truly touch lives.”
