CisuMusiC strengthened its cross-border music network through the participation of Vietnamese artists CHIVAN and MINH at SONIK Philippines 2026, held on September 11–12 at Green Sun, Makati. Their performances marked a new connection between Vietnam and the Philippine music scene, highlighting opportunities for artists to reach new audiences and build relationships beyond their home markets.

SONIK Philippines 2026 brought together Filipino and international artists, music professionals, and industry communities for a two-day conference and showcase focused on music export, international expansion, touring, and industry networking. The program combined industry discussions with live performances, with SID opening the first day of the showcase, followed by acts including One Click Straight, before Itchyworms closed Day 1 with a crowd-filled sing-along. Day 2 continued the musical showcase alongside conversations about helping Filipino artists build international careers.

For CHIVAN and MINH, the event offered an opportunity to introduce their music to Philippine audiences while connecting with a wider community of artists and industry professionals. Their participation also demonstrated how live showcases and industry platforms can create direct connections between artists and new markets.

Building A Network Beyond Borders

Supporting the artists was CisuMusiC, a platform focused on developing international music connections through festivals, showcases, Livehouse tours, fan platforms, and media networks. Its work brings together artists, audiences, music organizations, and industry opportunities across different territories.

CisuMusiC’s network spans Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and other international markets. Through these connections, the platform helps artists explore new audiences, enter different markets, and establish relationships with music communities beyond their home countries.

With the participation of CHIVAN and MINH at SONIK, the Philippines becomes part of this expanding network, opening opportunities for further engagement with the local music industry.

Creating Opportunities For Two-Way Music Exchange

Beyond bringing international artists to Philippine stages, CisuMusiC sees potential to strengthen relationships with Filipino artists, music organizations, festivals, and industry partners. These connections could help create pathways for local talent to access opportunities across Asia and other international markets.

As CisuMusiC’s relationship with the Philippine music industry develops, SONIK Philippines 2026 serves as an early example of how cross-border showcases can lead to broader industry connections. The goal is to turn individual performances into lasting opportunities for collaboration, audience development, and international growth.

By connecting artists, audiences, and music communities across markets, CisuMusiC continues to support a more interconnected music ecosystem—one where talent can travel beyond borders and find new opportunities to grow.
