China Banking Corporation (Chinabank) marks another milestone in its digital transformation as it becomes one of the first Philippine banks to enable Google Pay for both its Credit and Debit Cards, across Mastercard and Visa. This partnership brings cardholders a faster, safer, and more flexible way to pay—whether in stores or online—using nothing but their Android devices.
With Google Pay now supported, Chinabank customers can easily add their cards to Google Wallet and make contactless payments by simply tapping their phones at enabled terminals. Online checkouts also become quicker and more secure, eliminating the need to bring out physical cards. The launch reflects Chinabank’s commitment to offering modern, customer-centric financial solutions.

To get started, customers can download Google Wallet from the Play Store, add their Chinabank card by scanning or entering details, complete verification, and begin paying with Google Pay in stores or online. Chinabank will roll out communication initiatives to guide users through setup and provide support as more customers adopt digital wallets.
