Internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum artist, producer, musician, and songwriter Charlie Puth has released his latest single, “Beat Yourself Up,” from his forthcoming studio album Whatever’s Clever!, set to arrive on March 27. The song was inspired by a personal message Puth wanted to share with a friend: to remind them not to be too hard on themselves despite past mistakes. As he explains, the message quickly expanded beyond a friend, becoming one for himself and anyone who struggles with self-criticism, encouraging listeners to be kinder to themselves and keep moving forward.

Co-produced by Charlie Puth and BLOODPOP, “Beat Yourself Up” marks the start of what Puth describes as his most personal and explorative era yet. The single is accompanied by an official music video directed by Hunter Moreno. The release also coincides with the announcement of Puth’s biggest world tour to date, spanning 34 dates. The North American leg kicks off on April 22 at Viejas Arena in San Diego, with stops across major cities before continuing to Europe and the United Kingdom this summer. Fans can expect a mix of hits both old and new, performed live with Puth’s A+ band. Tickets are available now, with more information at https://www.charlieputh.com.
