Color correction gets a simpler and more playful update with Careline’s new Color Correcting Powder, a collection of lightweight complexion powders designed to address common skin concerns while setting makeup for a smooth, fresh finish.

Available in Banana, Peach, Translucent, Green, and Lavender, each shade uses the principles of color theory to visually balance specific complexion concerns. Green helps counter redness, peach addresses blue-toned discoloration, and other shades work to brighten and even out the appearance of the skin.

“When we looked around the local beauty shelves, most color corrector formats were heavy creams and liquids,” says Careline Brand Manager Carmen Torralba. “But if you wanted a weightless finish that balances your tone, options were limited.”

Careline simplifies the process into three steps: pick a shade based on your concern, correct, blur, and set. The powder format incorporates color correction into a finishing step, eliminating the need for an additional layer underneath foundation.

Five Shades, Five Solutions

Banana is a soft yellow-toned powder designed to brighten dull areas and neutralize purple undertones, while Peach helps counter blue-toned discoloration, particularly around tired-looking under-eyes.

For those looking for a more universal option, Translucent sets and blurs without adding visible color. Green helps balance visible redness, while Lavender counters yellow undertones and sallowness for a fresher-looking complexion.

The shades can be used individually depending on the concern or combined across different areas of the face for a more customized finish.

“This product was always high on the team’s development wishlist,” Torralba shares. “We put so much love and effort into formulating it, so seeing it go from an internal concept to actually being available on shelves is incredibly rewarding.”

A New Generation Of P-Beauty

The launch reflects a growing approach to P-beauty, focusing on products that respond to the everyday needs of Filipino consumers while keeping beauty accessible and trend-forward.

Beyond correcting discoloration, the powder is designed to help control shine and deliver a lightweight finish suited to tropical weather.

“It’s formulated for how Filipinas actually live and sweat through their day, not just how they look in a photo,” Torralba says.

The Careline Color Correcting Powder is available in Banana, Peach, Translucent, Green, and Lavender at major department stores and select Watsons stores nationwide, as well as Careline’s official flagship stores on TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada.
