Borderlands 4 continues to expand its post-launch content with the release of Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions, while Story Pack 2, a brand-new playable Vault Hunter, and Bounty Pack 5 are set to arrive on September 10 alongside the game’s Version 1.10 update.

Bounty Pack 4 introduces new story, enemies, and loot

The newly released Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions takes players to the Toxic Scowl, a polluted desert canyon where they must assist Levaine, leader of the Electi, in resolving a violent conflict between rival Ripper factions.

The repeatable narrative mission features:

  • A brand-new boss encounter
  • Three new mini-bosses
  • Exclusive loot rewards
  • One new Pearlescent weapon
  • Six new pieces of Legendary gear

Launching alongside the expansion is Vault Card 4, which gives players additional progression rewards earned through gameplay. The new Vault Card includes 24 cosmetic items and four rerollable pieces of gear, all inspired by a rugged desert aesthetic.

Bounty Pack 4 is available as two separate purchases: the Murders and Acquisitions narrative expansion and Vault Card 4.

Story Pack 2 brings back FL4K

Launching on September 10, Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort marks the return of FL4K, the fan-favorite Beastmaster and playable Vault Hunter from Borderlands 3.

The new expansion introduces an all-new narrative campaign centered on FL4K’s return, offering players another story-driven adventure within the Borderlands universe.

Meet the new Vault Hunter: Loveless the Hacker

Also arriving on September 10 is Loveless the Hacker, an entirely new playable Vault Hunter.

A former Anshin hacker turned assassin, Loveless combines advanced cybernetic enhancements with a self-created digital virus capable of digistructing into a physical extension of her will. Her unique abilities are expected to introduce a fresh combat style focused on cyber warfare and high-tech assassination.

Bounty Pack 5 also arrives in September

Version 1.10 will also introduce Bounty Pack 5, which includes another narrative mission and Vault Card 5.

Additional details about the new content and rewards will be announced closer to its release.
