Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), joined this year’s La Liga Youth Tournament in Manila, reinforcing its commitment to community-building and youth development through sport. The three-day event, held from November 14 to 16 at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium, gathered more than 7,000 young athletes, families, and coaches for a weekend of spirited competition and camaraderie.

As part of its Blockchain4Youth initiative, Bitget created a family-friendly space that quickly became a favorite stop among parents and young players. The booth featured a lighthearted penalty shoot-out game where kids could relax between matches. Successful attempts earned refreshments and exclusive La Liga x Bitget merchandise, turning the area into both a fun break spot and a convenient meeting point offering shade, water, and moments of downtime amid the busy tournament schedule.

Bitget’s participation focused intentionally on community value rather than product promotion. The company chose to support the tournament because its core values—discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship—align with Bitget’s long-standing youth empowerment efforts. Throughout the event, long lines of participants flocked to the booth, helping elevate the festive atmosphere while fostering meaningful connections with families and local football communities.

“I’ve always believed that the love for football starts early, often on streets or fields just like this,” said Ignacio Aguirre, Chief Marketing Officer at Bitget. “Supporting La Liga’s Youth Tournament means a lot to us because it’s about nurturing passion at an age where it matters most. These kids play with joy, ambition, and imagination—the same qualities that shape great futures, whether in sports or beyond.”

This activation follows a year of shared initiatives between Bitget and La Liga across Asia, including viewing parties and school outreach programs. With the Philippines home to one of Southeast Asia’s most active sports communities, Bitget continues to strengthen cultural ties by supporting youth sports in a genuine and non-commercial way.

For Bitget, partnerships like this highlight how technology, culture, and community grow strongest when grounded in authentic, real-world experiences.
