Ignacio brings more than 15 years of experience across technology, fintech, and blockchain, having held senior roles at global firms including Adobe, SAP, Scorechain, and Xapo Bank. His background spans global brand operations, digital transformation, and user growth—expertise that positions him to guide Bitget’s next phase of expansion.

“Ignacio brings a rare combination of technical fluency and creative vision,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “His leadership will help connect innovation, culture, and community as Bitget evolves into a truly global Universal Exchange.”

His appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the company. As CMO, Ignacio will lead efforts to integrate CeFi, DeFi, and TradFi ecosystems into a unified financial platform, delivering what Bitget describes as “one-stop access to global assets.”

“For too long, finance has been a fragmented landscape,” Ignacio said. “My mission at Bitget is to break down those barriers.” He added that while the platform already serves over 120 million users, his goal is to help grow that number to 150 million and beyond, with a long-term vision of reaching one billion users by 2030.

Beyond brand strategy, Ignacio will focus on product storytelling and driving mass adoption of Bitget’s innovations, including Onchain, GetAgent, and Stock Futures. By simplifying complex financial tools and injecting creativity into communication, he aims to position Bitget as both a financial and cultural platform for the next generation.

These efforts are expected to play a key role in Bitget’s target of surpassing 150 million users by 2026.
