Bistro Rising 2025 returns to Manila with a renewed sense of purpose, spotlighting some of the most promising Filipino indie artists in a cross-cultural music showcase. The highly anticipated event takes place at 70’s Bistro, bringing together talent from both Singapore and the Philippines for an evening of soulful rhythms, catchy hooks, and vibrant performances.
Co-headlining the show are three Singapore-based Filipino bands making waves in the Lion City’s underground music scene: soul-pop act iLaya, indie rock group Nostress, and ‘80s new wave-inspired band The Next Wave. They will share the stage with homegrown acts Shumi, a Bulacan-based city pop band, and Rooftop Reveries, an indie pop-rock group celebrated for their engaging songwriting and polished live performances.
Presented by Mushi Entertainment, Bistro Rising 2025 is part of a broader initiative to strengthen creative ties between the Philippines and Singapore. The event reflects a growing, interconnected community of Filipino musicians and artists exploring collaboration and cultural exchange across borders.
