ABS-CBN’s sensation BINI has reached a monumental milestone, becoming the first-ever Filipino group to grace the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The landmark performance took place on Friday, April 10 (US time) at the Mojave stage, marking a definitive moment for Pinoy Pop (P-pop) and OPM on the global stage.

The “Nation’s Girl Group” delivered an electrifying 45-minute set to a diverse international crowd, showcasing a blend of their greatest hits and fresh material.

A Historic Setlist at Mojave

BINI opened their debut with the high-energy track “Shagidi,” immediately followed by “Zero Pressure” and “Out Of My Head.” The group’s performance was a balance of fan favorites and brand-new surprises, including:

  • OPM Anthems: Powerhouse performances of “Karera” and “Salamin, Salamin.”

  • English-Language Tracks: Engaging the global audience with “Blink Twice” and the viral hit “Cherry on Top.”

  • Exclusive Debut: Fans witnessed the first-ever live performance of their new song, “Blush.”

  • The Grand Finale: The set concluded with a summer-fueled performance of “Bikini” and their record-breaking hit, “Pantropiko.”

Representing the Philippines

In between songs, members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena took a moment to reflect on the gravity of the occasion.

“We are so grateful to be here to represent the Philippines on a global stage and to share with you guys our music,” said Aiah.

Maloi added: “Being here with all of you has been the sweetest ‘cherry on top’ of our journey so far.”

Worldwide Digital Takeover

The performance sparked an immediate global conversation. As the set was livestreamed via the Coachella YouTube channel, #BINI_CoachellaWk1 surged to the #1 trending topic worldwide on X. The hashtag also led trends in the Philippines and the UAE, while reaching the Top 10 in the United States, Canada, Singapore, Australia, and Puerto Rico.

Back home, “Blooms” (the group’s dedicated fanbase) gathered for watch parties across Metro Manila and neighboring cities, organized by BLOOM Philippines, to witness the historic moment in real-time.
