Taguig City, January 2026 – Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is set to elevate Manila’s cultural landscape with the launch of Portals, a groundbreaking global artwork, opening on January 21, 2026 at the heart of the city.
Spearheaded by Portals Organization, this installation marks the first Portal in Asia and the sixth worldwide, joining locations in the United States, United Kingdom, Lithuania, and more. Portals are designed to foster global human connection, offering a live 24/7 video link with other Portals in Vilnius, Lublin, Dublin, Philadelphia, Ipswich, and soon Piauí, Brazil.
“Bringing the Portal to BGC—where culture, creativity, and community converge—allows us to connect Filipinos with people around the world in a meaningful way. We can’t wait to welcome everyone into this shared global experience,” said Benediktas Gylys, founder of Portals Organization.
Enrique B. Manuel Jr., COO of BGC, added, “At BGC, we aim to create spaces that celebrate culture and diversity. Portals provides a new avenue for human connection, highlighting the warmth of the Filipino spirit on a global stage.”
The BGC Portal will be located on 5th Avenue at Bonifacio High Street, made possible with support from CMC Contract Manufacturing, Eurasia Marble and Granite, Excell Contractors, Habitus Design Group, United Neon, UnionBank, and Globe Telecom, which provides connectivity via Globe at Home.
