Viu Philippines is set to launch its newest Viu Original series, Love, Siargao, this June 2026, bringing viewers a romance set against the scenic backdrop of the country’s surfing capital.

Headlined by Alden Richards and Nadine Lustre, the series follows Jao and Kara, whose lives become intertwined by the island’s mysterious “Siargao curse.”

Kara finds herself unable to leave the island after arriving in Siargao, while Jao lands on the island nursing a broken heart after the sudden end of his relationship. As they spend more time together, the two discover that love often appears when least expected.

Adding an international dimension to the series is Korean actor Kim Ji Soo, who joins the cast in one of the show’s major highlights. Known for his emotionally nuanced performances, Kim Ji Soo takes on a role that explores romance, personal growth, and meaningful relationships alongside the ensemble cast.

The series also features Coleen Garcia, Kyline Alcantara, Gab Lagman, Kakki Teodoro, Adrian Lindayag, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela, and Christopher Diwata, each contributing to the story’s blend of romance, humor, and heartfelt moments.

Complementing the drama is its official theme song, “Alon,” performed by JL. The ballad reflects the emotional highs and lows of love while echoing the rhythms of Siargao’s waves, capturing the journey of healing, hope, and new beginnings experienced by the lead characters.

Combining romance, breathtaking island scenery, and a diverse cast led by local and international stars, Love, Siargao promises a heartfelt story about fate, timing, and finding love in unexpected places.
