AirAsia MOVE (MOVE) has been named Asia’s Best Travel Booking App for the fourth consecutive year at the World Travel Tech Awards 2026, recognizing its continued innovation and efforts to adapt to evolving traveler needs.
From its beginnings as a flight and hotel booking platform, MOVE has expanded into a travel and lifestyle app designed to support more aspects of the journey. Users can book flights across more than 700 airlines, choose from over one million hotels, and access bundled flight and hotel deals through SNAP!. The platform also offers attractions and experiences through GetYourGuide, live entertainment options through MOVETIX, and booking assistance through AskBo, its AI-powered chatbot.
MOVE continues to improve its booking processes and payment experience to make travel planning more convenient. These developments are reflected in its growing engagement, with monthly active users increasing 22% year-on-year to nearly 17 million, while app journey searches rose 14% to 33 million.
