AirAsia MOVE (MOVE), Asia’s leading travel booking app, has strengthened its global connectivity in the second quarter of 2026 with the addition of four new direct airline partners: Oman Air, Uzbekistan Airways, FitsAir, and Hainan Airlines. The expansion enhances MOVE’s presence across the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, and China, while giving travelers broader access to emerging and high-demand destinations through a more seamless booking experience.
The new partnerships reflect increasing airline confidence in MOVE as a key distribution channel for reaching the region’s rapidly growing traveler base. As a flights-focused online travel agency, MOVE continues to expand its inventory across both full-service and low-cost carriers, reinforcing its position in the competitive digital travel ecosystem.
Strengthening Regional and Global Connectivity
Nadia Omer, CEO of MOVE, emphasized the platform’s commitment to expanding travel options across Asia.
“Travel across ASEAN is evolving rapidly, with travelers demanding greater choice and seamless control all on one platform,” she said. “As a flights-first OTA, expanding our network offering is core to our mission. Securing the trust of major carriers like Oman Air, Uzbekistan Airways, FitsAir, and Hainan Airlines, particularly amid ongoing macroeconomic headwinds and volatility, is a powerful testament to the commercial strength of the MOVE ecosystem and the regional reach we deliver to our partners.”
Each airline partnership unlocks new travel corridors for users:
- Oman Air enhances premium connectivity to Oman and its wider global network.
- Uzbekistan Airways opens access to Central Asia via Tashkent, tapping growing interest in Silk Road destinations.
- FitsAir improves affordable links between Kuala Lumpur and Colombo, with onward connections to Lahore, Dubai, Dhaka, and Chennai.
- Hainan Airlines expands access across China from major hubs including Haikou, Beijing, Chongqing, Shenzhen, and Xi’an, while also extending international routes across Asia, Europe, and North America.
Expanding a Growing Global Airline Network
With these additions, MOVE continues to scale its airline partnerships as part of its strategy to offer wider flight options across Asia and beyond. The four new carriers join more than 75 global airlines already directly partnered with the platform.
In addition to its direct airline partnerships, MOVE also provides access to approximately 700 additional airlines through authorized suppliers, giving travelers extensive flexibility in planning their trips.
Beyond flights, the platform offers a comprehensive travel ecosystem that includes over a million hotel listings, airport transfers, tourist attractions, online duty-free shopping, travel insurance, and other travel-related services.
