adidas has announced the 19th edition of its flagship pre-draft development program, the adidas Eurocamp, set to take place from June 5 to 7, 2026, in Treviso, Italy. Now in its 19th year, the camp continues to serve as one of the world’s leading talent showcases, connecting top young basketball prospects with NBA and EuroLeague coaches, scouts, and executives.

Recognized as one of the premier pre-draft camps outside the United States, adidas Eurocamp brings together elite athletes aged 18 to 22 from Europe, the Americas, Africa, Australia, and Asia-Pacific. The event provides a high-level environment for training, competition, and global exposure.

Andy Gemao carries Filipino flag on the global stage

Among this year’s selected athletes is Filipino guard Andy Gemao, who earned his spot after an impressive showing at the adidas Tokyo Nations Camp earlier this year. His selection marks another step in a growing international journey supported by adidas Philippines, which signed him in 2023 as one of its youngest basketball athletes.

Gemao’s inclusion in Eurocamp further highlights adidas’ long-term commitment to developing Filipino basketball talent and giving young athletes pathways to the global stage.

Adding to his rising profile, Gemao has also secured his first NCAA Division I offer from the Penn State Nittany Lions, strengthening his reputation as one of the Philippines’ most promising young guards.

NBA mentors headline elite development experience

This year’s Eurocamp will also feature appearances from NBA players and former camp alumni who will mentor participants and share insights from their professional journeys. Confirmed guests include Franz Wagner (Orlando Magic), Bogdan Bogdanović (Los Angeles Clippers), and VJ Edgecombe (Philadelphia 76ers).

Led by Coaching Director Bill Bayno and Scouting Director Gianluca Pascucci, the camp will bring together a diverse pool of talent, including draft-eligible prospects, 3SSB athletes, NBL Next Stars, and standout players from the NextGen EuroLeague and other emerging basketball markets.

Through this setup, Eurocamp continues to strengthen its reputation as a global launchpad for future professional basketball careers.
