Adidas Philippines has released its first-ever Filipino player-edition basketball shoe, the Adizero Select 3.0 “KQ63”, featuring rising star Kevin Quiambao. The shoe, designed with Filipino artist Quiccs, blends performance with streetwear-inspired storytelling. The “KQ63” celebrates Filipino talent and heritage, marking a new era of local representation in global sportswear. Quiccs, a renowned toy designer and streetwear artist, is at the helm of the partnership, helping bring KQ’s story to life through footwear. The shoe aims to reflect Quiambao’s athletic journey, from the courts of his hometown to the grand stages of Korea, and what lies ahead for him.

“It’s been a privilege to have played a part in this player edition footwear, and it has been one of the biggest inspirations for me to keep working and playing hard on the court. Adidas has been one of my biggest supporters from the start, so I’m very excited to be a part of this collaboration with adidas and Quiccs as I continue my journey as an athlete,” shares Quiambao.

While KQ has ushered in the wave of the next generation of elite athletes with his skill and tenacity on the court, so has Quiccs made and continues to make his impact in art, locally and globally. Through his signature character TEQ63, Quiccs has crafted an identity and style unique to him, blending his passions of Japanese robots, hip-hop, and graffiti to leave his influence in every line, in every stroke.

The “KQ63” colorway features a striking neon pink base with crisp white stripes, merging KQ’s favorite color to wear on-court with Quiccs’ signature street-meets-mecha aesthetic. The design is rich with personal touches, including custom logos and illustrations of both KQ and Quiccs on the heels and insoles—symbols of national pride and creative synergy.

“Having been able to work with Adidas for the last six years, it continues to be an accomplishment to collaborate, especially now more so with Kevin Quiambao, who has proven himself to be a generational talent. I feel very honored not only to have worked with him but also to have another opportunity to represent Filipino artistry once more with adidas,” says Quiccs of the collaboration.

His appearance in the KQ63s helped shine a spotlight on Filipino identity and the growing influence of local talent on the global basketball scene.
