Star Cinema’s latest romantic drama, “Always Yours, Never Mine,” has surpassed ₱100 million in box-office earnings as of October 11, marking a major milestone for the film starring Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.
Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the movie opened in cinemas nationwide on September 30 and continues to draw moviegoers with its sweeping story of love, meaningful encounters, and difficult choices.
“Doon po sa mga nanood ng ‘Always Yours, Never Mine,’ over a hundred million thanks mula sa puso namin. Maraming, maraming salamat sa inyo,” Joshua and Julia said, expressing their gratitude to audiences who have supported the film.
A Love Story Spanning Three Decades
“Always Yours, Never Mine” follows Apollo (Joshua) and Luna (Julia) through a 30-year journey shaped by unexpected turns, significant encounters, and decisions that test their relationship. The film also features Bianca Umali, alongside Chanda Romero, Bob Jbeili, Karen Reyes, Migs Almendras, Paulo Angeles, and Joy Barcoma.
The movie marks another collaboration between Joshua and Julia, who have previously starred together in Un/Happy For You, Block Z, I Love You, Hater, Unexpectedly Yours, Love You to the Stars and Back, and Vince & Kath & James.
International Screenings Begin October 22
Following its local box-office success, “Always Yours, Never Mine” is set to reach international audiences through screenings in several territories:
- October 22: United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Australia, and New Zealand
- October 23: United States, Canada, and Guam
- October 31: United Kingdom and Austria
- November 1: France, Italy, and Spain
