Art & Bali 2026 brings together art, design, fashion, and culture at Nuanu Creative City in Tabanan, Bali, transforming the 44-hectare creative destination into a meeting point for artists, galleries, designers, collectors, and cultural leaders.

The second edition runs from September 11 to 13, featuring 23 galleries and art spaces, more than 300 artists, commissioned installations, performances, and public programs spread throughout the Nuanu site. Rather than being contained within a traditional convention hall, the event places art within the wider landscape and creative community of Bali.

“Inaugurated by the Ministry of Creative Economy, the second edition builds on the relationships formed during last year’s debut while creating more opportunities for galleries, artists, and makers from different places to meet in Bali,” said Kelsang Dolma, Founding Director of Art & Bali.

Bridging Art, Craft And Creative Culture

This year’s continuing theme, Bridging Dichotomies, explores the connections between tradition and modernity, nature and technology, and craft and the market. The program brings together creative practices from Indonesia, India, Southeast Asia, and beyond, encouraging conversations around how these different traditions can intersect.

At the center of the program is What The Body Remembers, a flagship exhibition led by Bandana Tewari, with Brina Paska as Assistant Curator. The exhibition brings togethCreative Industrieser 26 designers and makers from India and Indonesia, exploring the idea of technique as a form of memory through textiles, dye, weaving, craft, and movement.

Featured participants include 11.11 / eleven eleven, A. Sebastianus, Ayni, Chanakya School, Cinta Bumi Artisans, Gaurav Gupta, Hiddenland, Iyonono, Kita Bisa Design, Lulu Lutfi Labibi, Raw Mango x Sanjay Garg, Sakde Oka, Setia Cap Cili, Studio Jeje, TANGAN Privé, Tex Saverio, and TOTON The Label, among others.

While Art & Bali takes place until September 13, What The Body Remembers will remain on view at Labyrinth Art Gallery in Nuanu Creative City until November 29, 2026, allowing visitors to experience the exhibition beyond the main fair dates.

A Platform For Creative Exchange

The fair’s 23 exhibitors represent established galleries, independent spaces, and emerging platforms from Indonesia, Malaysia, Spain, Italy, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States, alongside a strong representation of Bali-based creative spaces.

The program also includes Nuanu Future Talks: Fashion & Art, bringing together more than 20 artists, designers, curators, collectors, and cultural leaders for conversations on cultural ownership, art and fashion, craft and materials, technology, and the future of creative culture in Asia.

“Creative ecosystems are built through connection and curiosity, and art has a unique ability to bring people together,” said Lev Kroll, CEO of Nuanu Creative City. “Through Art & Bali, we want to channel the international attention that Bali receives toward the strength of Indonesian art, while also strengthening the connection between the creative industries and development.”

With its mix of exhibitions, galleries, installations, performances, and conversations, Art & Bali 2026 offers a wider look at how creative communities across Asia can connect, collaborate, and inspire new ways of experiencing art and culture.
