Kapuso star Will Ashley officially steps into a new chapter in his music career with the release of his debut album, Liham. The eight-track pop album turns different stories and emotions surrounding love into songs, offering listeners a glimpse into the young artist’s personal and creative side.
The album features “Paborito,” Will’s first released single and key track, alongside seven new songs: “AAKH!,” “Harana Para Sa’yo,” “Dito Ka Na Lang,” “Sa Piling Mo,” “Sinta,” “Matutulog,” and “Kasalanan.”
Eight Songs, Eight Stories Of Love
Each track explores a different side of love. “Paborito” captures the feeling of finding someone who becomes your favorite person, while “AAKH!” reflects the patience required to love through uncertainty. “Harana Para Sa’yo” gives the classic Filipino serenade a modern pop treatment, while “Dito Ka Na Lang” centers on commitment and the desire to keep someone close.
Meanwhile, “Sa Piling Mo” tells the story of finding your way back to someone you know you should let go of, while “Sinta” explores choosing love despite difficult circumstances. “Matutulog” brings a dreamy take on finding happiness in someone special, and “Kasalanan” revolves around seeking forgiveness and making things right.
Will also co-wrote three tracks—“Paborito,” “Sinta,” and “Kasalanan.” The album was produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.
Fans can celebrate the album with Will at his Liham album launch at the SM North EDSA Skydome on September 20. Tickets are available through SM Tickets and SM Tickets outlets.
