The Queen of R&B is adding another milestone to her celebrated music career. Kyla has released the vinyl edition of her latest album, “Next Episode,” while also unveiling the visualizer for her newest single, “Bring Your Jacket.”
Released through Backspacer Records, “Next Episode” marks Kyla’s first-ever album released on vinyl, giving fans a chance to experience her music in a physical format at a time when streaming has become the primary way people listen to music.
For the Kapamilya singer, owning a physical album carries a special kind of nostalgia and connection with the music.
“As a batang ’90s, as a millennial, nare-relish ko yung ganitong pagkakataon na nagkakaroon uli ng physical copies ng albums,” Kyla shared, adding that having a physical copy allows listeners to grow with the songs in a different way.
The R&B icon also revealed that she is currently working on a deluxe edition of “Next Episode,” which is set to feature new songs.
Adding to the album’s latest offerings is “Bring Your Jacket,” a feel-good track about expressing love and affection without having to say the words outright. According to Kyla, the song explores the many ways someone can say “I love you” through actions and gestures, wrapped in a beautiful melody and an easygoing vibe perfect for listening while on the road.
Kyla continues to celebrate more career achievements after earning a 2026 Awit Awards nomination for Best R&B Recording for her song “Stand Up.” Originally released in October 2025, “Next Episode” also features tracks such as “Kaya Ko Yan” and “Back to Bliss.”
Fans can listen to “Next Episode” on digital streaming platforms and get its vinyl edition through Backspacer Records. The “Bring Your Jacket” visualizer is also available on the ABS-CBN Star Music YouTube channel.
