Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing and AI infrastructure arm of Alibaba Group, has been named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud AI Infrastructure report.

The recognition highlights Alibaba Cloud’s full-stack approach to AI, spanning high-performance computing infrastructure, AI model and agent development platforms, and pretrained foundation models.

Gartner’s report evaluates hyperscale vendors and specialist cloud providers that deliver infrastructure optimized for AI workloads, including model training, inference, and servicing. It is also the first time Gartner has published a Magic Quadrant report specifically focused on cloud AI infrastructure.

According to Alibaba Cloud, the recognition reflects its efforts to provide businesses with an integrated AI ecosystem designed to help them scale AI applications and services.

“As AI transforms how businesses operate, companies need reliable infrastructure to scale,” said Dr. Feifei Li, Chief Technology Officer and President of International Business of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. “We are committed to a full-stack AI cloud ecosystem.”

Alibaba Cloud said its ecosystem combines model-as-a-service offerings with AI-native development tools and agentic cloud infrastructure, aiming to make AI deployment more accessible for businesses worldwide.

The company continues to expand its cloud and AI capabilities as organizations increasingly look for infrastructure that can support the growing demands of AI model development, deployment, and enterprise applications.
