Quadruple A developer DMCI Homes is expanding into the leisure and hospitality sector with the launch of DMCI Hospitality and Leisure, Inc. (DHLI), which will operate under the DMCI Resorts brand.

The company’s first major project will be Solmera Beach Park Resort in San Juan, Batangas, an integrated leisure and events destination set to open in February 2027. The resort forms part of the 7.5-hectare Solmera Coast beachfront estate and is designed to cater to both leisure travelers and organized groups.

Solmera Beach Park Resort will feature multiple swimming pools, landscaped open spaces, dining venues, accommodations, wellness facilities, and a convention center. Its events facilities will include an approximately 811-square-meter main function hall, a 419-square-meter veranda, additional function spaces, and roof deck venues for corporate gatherings, celebrations, and other events.

The development also includes a pool complex spanning more than 4,000 square meters, a Sky Deck Infinity Pool, restaurants, bars, food kiosks, and studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom accommodations.

Beyond San Juan, DMCI Resorts plans to expand its leisure portfolio with projects such as Moncello Crest, an eco-agri resort condotel in Tuba, Benguet, and a planned nature park development in Calamba, Laguna.

DMCI Homes President Alfredo Austria said the company aims to build strong operating systems and a skilled hospitality team while contributing to San Juan’s growing tourism ecosystem. The company is also exploring partnerships with local governments, schools, TESDA-accredited institutions, and community groups for hospitality training, internships, and workforce development.

Through DMCI Resorts, DMCI Homes aims to bring its experience in resort-inspired developments into full-scale leisure destinations that create opportunities for travelers, businesses, and local communities.
