Emirates is giving travelers more flexibility and peace of mind with a range of enhanced booking, refund, insurance, and loyalty benefits designed to make travel plans easier to manage.
Starting August 10, 2026, customers traveling to Dubai can change their travel dates unlimited times at no additional cost, across a wide range of Economy and Business Class fares. Economy Flex Plus, Premium Economy, Business Flex Plus, and First Class fares will continue to offer full flexibility.
The airline is also reducing refund fees for selected Dubai-bound fares. Economy Saver fares will carry a US$50 refund fee, while Flex fares will have a US$25 fee. In Business Class, refund fees will be US$50 for Special and Saver fares and US$25 for Flex fares.
One Free Date Change Across the Emirates Network
Beyond Dubai, Emirates is extending greater flexibility to travelers across its entire network. Customers with tickets booked from April 2, 2026 are entitled to one free date change, including itineraries connecting through Dubai.
Travelers can also hold a fare for 24 hours at no charge, giving them additional time to finalize their plans before committing to a booking.
Greater Peace of Mind With Comprehensive Travel Cover
Emirates is also offering its Comprehensive Travel Cover, an insurance product designed to protect customers against a range of travel disruptions and unexpected circumstances.
The coverage includes added conflict protection, with reimbursement of medical expenses of up to US$25,000, as well as a free trip extension of up to 30 days. It also provides coverage for trip cancellation, baggage delay and loss, unlimited worldwide medical expenses, and emergency evacuation.
Available across 27 countries, the travel cover can be purchased when booking through Emirates or added later through Manage Booking.
For disrupted flights, Emirates will provide accommodation support for affected customers. If onward connections on other airlines are impacted or Emirates services become unavailable, customers can be rebooked to their destination at no additional cost, including in cases involving airspace-related cancellations.
Extra Benefits for Emirates Skywards Members
Emirates Skywards members can also enjoy additional savings and greater flexibility through August 31, 2026.
Members will need 20% fewer Tier Miles to reach Silver, Gold, and Platinum status, while Emirates and flydubai flights will earn a 20% bonus in Tier Miles.
Members can also get more value when using Cash+Miles, with a promotional rate of 2,000 Miles for US$30, compared with the usual US$15. The offer can be used toward Emirates or flydubai flights, excess baggage, lounge access, and seat selection.
With free date changes, lower refund fees, travel insurance, and enhanced loyalty benefits, Emirates is giving customers more options to adjust their journeys while keeping unexpected travel changes easier to manage.
