Royal Caribbean is extending Navigator of the Seas’ Singapore season through October 2027, giving travelers across Asia more opportunities to explore Southeast Asia on year-round cruise getaways. Bookings for the extended Singapore season open on August 19 via Royal Caribbean’s website.
Beginning in October 2026, Navigator of the Seas will offer a year-round lineup of 2- to 5-night sailings from Singapore to sought-after destinations in Southeast Asia, including Penang and Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) in Malaysia, and Phuket in Thailand. The program will also feature an immersive 12-night sailing from Tokyo to Singapore.
“We’re excited to give vacationers even more opportunities to experience Navigator of the Seas from Singapore,” said Ben Bouldin, President of Greater China and Managing Director Asia, Royal Caribbean. “From long weekend escapes to memorable family vacations, travellers can now enjoy a full year of adventures from one of Asia’s most ideal cruise gateways. With thrilling activities, world-class entertainment and dining onboard, Navigator of the Seas delivers the ultimate action-packed holiday in Southeast Asia.”
Singapore’s strong air connectivity with major cities across Asia and beyond continues to make it a convenient fly-cruise gateway for travelers exploring the region.
“Royal Caribbean’s decision to extend Navigator of the Seas from a six-month seasonal deployment to a year-round homeport reflects their continued confidence in Singapore as a leading cruise hub in Asia,” said Chitra Rajesh Kumar, Director, Cruise, Singapore Tourism Board. “The extension is testament to Singapore’s long-standing partnership with Royal Caribbean and offers visitors opportunities to discover Singapore’s vibrant city experiences and explore the rich diversity of Southeast Asia, all within the same cruise holiday.”
Adventure and Relaxation at Sea
Navigator of the Seas offers experiences designed for families, thrill-seekers and travelers looking to unwind.
Younger guests can enjoy Splashaway Bay, while adventure-seekers can take on The Blaster, the longest waterslide at sea, or Riptide, a headfirst mat racer. Guests can also test their teamwork at Royal Escape Room: The Observatorium and glow-in-the-dark laser tag.
For those looking to relax, the Caribbean-inspired pool deck offers a place to unwind with tropical cocktails at The Lime & Coconut. Guests can also enjoy original productions at the Royal Theater, ice-skating shows at Studio B, and a variety of dining options, including seafood at Hooked Seafood and Mexican favorites at El Loco Fresh. The Bamboo Room serves handcrafted tiki-inspired cocktails.
Royal Caribbean Prepares for Its Biggest Asia-Pacific Season
The 2027-2028 season will also bring three Royal Caribbean ships to Australia for the line’s biggest Australian summer yet. The expanded lineup will feature the newly amplified Ovation of the Seas sailing from Brisbane, alongside Voyager of the Seas, while Anthem of the Seas returns to Sydney.
From January to April, Voyager of the Seas will make Asia its home, sailing from Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo with new adventures across the Asia-Pacific region.
Travelers can choose a 5-night sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong, or seven 4- and 5-night roundtrip cruises from Hong Kong featuring destinations such as Ishigaki and Okinawa, Japan. Select sailings will include overnight stays, giving guests more time to explore.
Additional Hong Kong itineraries will visit Taipei, Taiwan, and Hue/Danang (Chan May), Vietnam. Beginning in late February, Tokyo sailings will coincide with Japan’s iconic cherry blossom season, with four immersive 10- to 12-night itineraries visiting destinations including Osaka, Nagasaki, Kobe and Mt. Fuji (Shimizu).
Bookings for the extended Singapore season open August 19, while Voyager of the Seas Asia-Pacific sailings go on sale August 26.
