Epson has expanded its professional printing portfolio with the launch of the SureColor V4000, a new UV flatbed printer designed to help businesses produce high-quality customized merchandise, signage, and display graphics in-house.
The latest addition to Epson’s SureColor V-Series comes as demand for personalized products and short-run printing continues to grow across Southeast Asia Pacific. Designed for businesses seeking greater production flexibility, the SureColor V4000 combines image quality, productivity, and space efficiency, enabling users to reduce outsourcing while maintaining consistent, professional results.
Built for commercial production
Designed to handle larger formats and thicker materials, the SureColor V4000 supports A1+ print sizes and media up to 20 centimeters thick, allowing businesses to print directly on rigid substrates such as signage, phone cases, notebooks, display boards, and other promotional materials.
The printer joins Epson’s UV flatbed lineup alongside the SureColor V7000, offering commercial-grade capabilities in a more compact footprint that suits businesses operating in space-constrained production environments.
Expanded creative possibilities
The SureColor V4000 is equipped with Epson’s 10-color UltraChrome UV ink set, which includes gray, red, white, and varnish inks to deliver a wider color gamut, smoother gradients, and enhanced image detail.
The additional inks enable businesses to create premium visual effects such as textured finishes, gloss highlights, layered prints, and high-impact graphics across a variety of rigid media. The printer also produces crisp fine lines and sharp 2-point text, making it suitable for detailed signage and commercial graphics.
White and varnish inks further expand creative possibilities by adding depth and unique surface finishes that help businesses differentiate their products.
Designed for efficiency
Built to support increasing demand for customized, short-run production, the SureColor V4000 delivers print speeds of up to 4.6 square meters per hour in Production/Default mode, with speeds reaching 10.9 square meters per hour in High Speed mode.
Its larger A1+ flatbed allows multiple items to be printed simultaneously, helping businesses maximize productivity while making efficient use of available workspace.
The printer also features a front-access design for easier maintenance and consumable replacement, minimizing workflow interruptions. Automatic media height adjustment simplifies setup by automatically positioning the print head according to substrate thickness, ensuring consistent image quality across different materials.
