Thai digital superstar Aon Somrutai has officially made her highly anticipated first visit to the Philippines, marking a major milestone in her career as the newest artist under GLXY Talent Management and Universal Records Philippines.

Known for her lifestyle, fashion, luxury, and travel content, Aon has built a massive following across social media, becoming one of Thailand’s most recognizable digital personalities. Her signature catchphrase, “Thank You, Kateyki!”, has also become a viral sensation across Asia, helping her gain a loyal international fanbase.

Accompanied by her husband, affectionately known by fans as “Doctor,” Aon arrived in Manila on July 13 for a packed schedule of media appearances, collaborations, and exclusive engagements as she officially introduced herself to Filipino audiences.

Her Philippine visit began with a welcome dinner at Lola Ote Restaurant, where members of the press and digital media gathered to meet the Thai influencer. During the event, Aon participated in interviews and met several of the country’s popular content creators, including Drag Race Philippines Season 2 star M1ss Jade So, along with TikTok personalities Evan Tan and Andrea So.

To make her feel at home, Aon was welcomed with a balloon bouquet from Babina Balloons and a traditional banig bag filled with Filipino treats and souvenirs. The thoughtful gift included local snacks, dried mangoes, a pamaypay, a wooden back scratcher, and plush versions of iconic Filipino street food such as fishballs, kwek-kwek, and isaw from Common Room PH and Pop Junk Love.

One of the highlights of her trip was collaborating with social media personality Small Laude, who invited Aon and her husband for a mukbang featuring authentic Filipino cuisine. During the shoot, the couple sampled Lola Ote Restaurant’s signature dishes, including its famous sisig and barbecue, giving Aon her first taste of some of the country’s best-loved comfort food.

On July 14, Aon headlined an exclusive cover shoot for MEGA Magazine at Salon de Ning inside The Peninsula Manila. While at the hotel, she also filmed a playful video of herself riding a seated electric scooter while dressed in an elegant evening gown. The clip quickly went viral, garnering more than 11 million views on Instagram and over 3 million views on TikTok.

Aon also made a special guest appearance on the hit noontime program It’s Showtime on July 15, where she joined the hosts in dancing to the viral song “Oooh La La Baby” by the Baby Dolls, earning cheers from both the live audience and viewers across the country.

Throughout her stay, Aon was hosted at Seda Vertis North, while Transportverse served as her official transportation partner, ensuring smooth travel between her various media engagements, interviews, and photoshoots. Completing her glamorous looks was a Filipino beauty team composed of hairstylists Mark Anthony Rosales and Vannie Claveria, along with makeup artists Pam Carreon and Make Up by MIRS.

Aon’s successful Philippine debut signals the start of an exciting new chapter under GLXY Talent Management and Universal Records Philippines. Following the overwhelming support from Filipino fans and the viral success of her Manila content, more collaborations, music releases, brand partnerships, media appearances, and special projects are already in the works.

If her first visit is any indication, Filipino fans can expect to see Aon Somrutai back in the Philippines again very soon.
