Estelle Fly ushers in a bold new era with introspective single 'Bury it'

Singaporean independent pop artist Estelle Fly has returned with her first release of the year, “Bury it,” an emotionally charged single that explores the quiet intensity of unspoken attraction and the lingering ache of wanting someone you can never fully have.

The new track marks the beginning of a fresh chapter in Estelle’s musical journey, showcasing a more confident and vulnerable side of the singer-songwriter. “This song feels like both an ending and a beginning,” Estelle shared. “It represents me beautifully closing the chapter of everything that’s brought me to this point and introducing what I like to call an era where I am exploring the concept of desire.”

“I wanted ‘Bury it’ to feel like you’re caught in a memory you don’t really want to leave,” she said. “Sometimes the strongest emotions are not the ones we confess, but the ones we keep to ourselves.”

Accompanying the single is a cinematic music video in which Estelle portrays an actress repeatedly cast opposite the same co-star.
