Biopharmaceutical company Sanofi Philippines has partnered with Healthway Medical Network (HMN), the clinics-and-hospitals arm of Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health), to make adult vaccination more convenient by integrating immunization into routine patient care.
The collaboration aims to help more Filipinos protect themselves against vaccine-preventable diseases by combining patient education with easier access to recommended vaccines during regular clinic visits.
At the center of the initiative are Healthway’s VaxHubs, a network of dedicated vaccination hubs located within Healthway facilities. These hubs allow patients to receive recommended vaccines during the same visit as their medical consultation or diagnostic procedure, eliminating the need for separate appointments.
By incorporating vaccination into the standard clinic experience, the partners hope to encourage more adults to prioritize preventive healthcare while reducing common barriers to immunization.
The initiative also addresses longstanding challenges to adult vaccination in the Philippines, including limited awareness about recommended vaccines, time constraints, and the inconvenience of scheduling separate vaccination visits.
Through the partnership, Sanofi Philippines and Healthway Medical Network aim to strengthen vaccine education and improve access to preventive healthcare, making it easier for more Filipinos to stay protected against preventable diseases.
