P-pop sensation BINI continues to expand its global footprint with the release of its latest single, “A Parallel World,” the official soundtrack for DreamWorks’ upcoming animated film Forgotten Island.
The song became available on digital streaming platforms on Thursday (July 23), following a teaser from DreamWorks on social media inviting fans to “ride the tide together” with the highly anticipated soundtrack release.
The new track adds another international milestone for the eight-member girl group as it continues to gain recognition beyond the Philippines.
BINI to perform at Summer Sonic 2026
Fresh off the soundtrack release, BINI is preparing to take the stage at Summer Sonic 2026, one of Japan’s biggest music festivals, happening simultaneously in Osaka and Tokyo from Aug. 14 to 16.
The group will perform on the festival’s Mountain Stage, joining an international lineup that includes global acts such as Jennie of BLACKPINK, David Byrne, Jamiroquai, Kodaline, and Suede.
BINI is scheduled to perform at the Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka on Aug. 14 before bringing its signature P-pop sound to Tokyo’s ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe on Aug. 16.
The appearances mark another major international showcase for Filipino music on one of Asia’s largest festival stages.
‘Signals’ world tour continues
Before heading to Japan, Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Maloi, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena recently performed in Cebu as the first major act at the newly opened SM Seaside Cebu Arena for the “Signals” World Tour – Cebu.
Following their Japan performances, the group will continue the global leg of the “Signals” World Tour with a series of concerts across North America.
