Fans of the Eraserheads will soon have another chance to own one of the most influential albums in Filipino music history on vinyl.

Offshore Music, the independent record label founded by Ely Buendia, has opened pre-orders for a new repress of ULTRAELECTROMAGNETICPOP! The 25th Anniversary Edition on premium white vinyl. Pre-orders run until August 1, 2026, with exclusive merchandise bundles also available.

The latest pressing is produced by Diggers Factory in France and mastered by renowned engineer Bernie Grundman, delivering an audiophile-quality listening experience while preserving the timeless sound of the Eraserheads’ landmark debut album.

Unlike the original 25th Anniversary vinyl release, which was limited to 2,500 copies and quickly sold out, the new edition is intended to make the record more accessible to fans who missed out on the first pressing.

According to Offshore Music General Manager Audry Dionisio, the repress responds to overwhelming demand while helping longtime fans avoid inflated resale prices.

“There were only 2,500 copies printed in the first run, and sadly because of the limited nature of the release, it prompted scalpers to resell it at ridiculous prices, which then alienated the true fans of the album,” Dionisio said.

“This time around, we wanted to give everybody a chance to own the album at a more affordable price. The timing couldn’t be more perfect since Offshore is celebrating its 10th anniversary. It’s our gift to the fans.”

Originally released more than three decades ago, ULTRAELECTROMAGNETICPOP! remains one of the defining records in Original Pilipino Music (OPM). Its songs have become enduring anthems that continue to resonate with listeners across generations.

The album has sold more than 300,000 copies and has been certified six-times platinum by the Philippine Association of the Recording Industry (PARI), cementing its status as one of the country’s best-selling and most influential albums.

Dionisio noted that the white vinyl edition offers collectors something unique beyond its new color.

“This time it’s released on white vinyl. It’s more affordable, but more importantly, it’s an album you should own and pass on to your kids. Compared to the first release, this repressing is our gift to those who weren’t able to grab the first one,” he said.

With the new release, Offshore Music hopes to give more fans the opportunity to experience one of OPM’s most iconic albums in a premium vinyl format while celebrating the label’s 10th anniversary.
