Dining takes on a new dimension at the newly opened Crazy Carabao Restaurant, where guests can enjoy craft beer and thoughtfully curated dishes while immersing themselves in the brewery where every bottle is made.
Located within Daystar Industrial Park, the new restaurant and bar offers a unique sip-and-dine experience that brings together handcrafted brews from Crazy Carabao and flavorful dishes from its sister brand, Captain Crust.
“Our goal is for guests to experience the brewery; to show you where our drinks are made, and to be here knowing that good drinks, good food, and good stories go hand in hand,” said Crazy Carabao president Christopher James Payne.
The restaurant can accommodate up to 60 diners and features a menu created by Captain Crust Chef Mon Miguel Marquez, who designed each dish to complement the brewery’s signature beers.
A Menu Built for Beer Pairing
Captain Crust’s menu features a wide range of comfort food favorites, including Detroit-style and thin-crust Napoletana pizzas, pasta dishes, and appetizers, all crafted to enhance the flavors of Crazy Carabao’s brews.
“When we’re doing the food pairing, I have to make sure there’s no overpowering—both in liquid and solid,” Chef Mon explained.
Among his recommended pairings are:
- Pilsner with Fritto Misto, Classic Fish & Chips, Aglio e Olio Pasta, and light seafood dishes
- Pale Ale with the Pollo Sampler, Simple Cheeseburger, and Kebabs
- Golden Ale with Chicken Quesadillas, Chicken Caesar Salad, Margherita Pizza, and Detroit-style pizzas
- Indian Pale Ale (IPA) with Baby Comeback Ribs, Garlic Beef Salpicao, and USDA Shortloin Bone-in Steak
- Apple Cider with Porchetta Chicharones, Spaghetti allo Scoglio, and New York Cheesecake
- Piña Colada with Spinach & Artichoke Dip, the restaurant’s Best Sisig in South, and Brownie Obsession
Crafted With Passion and Precision
Each Crazy Carabao brew is made using premium ingredients, including high-quality malts, hops, and yeast, and is produced with state-of-the-art brewing equipment. However, according to the company, it is the passion and expertise of its brewers that truly define the brand.
To meet growing demand, Crazy Carabao recently expanded its brewing facility by adding four new fermentation tanks, each with a capacity of 4,000 liters. The expansion enables the brewery to produce up to 22,727 bottles per week across its various beer offerings.
Expanding Beyond the Brewery
In addition to its restaurant and brewery operations, Crazy Carabao continues to expand its retail presence. Its craft beers are now available in major retailers such as Landers Superstore, S&R Membership Shopping, and South Supermarket, as well as convenience stores including 7-Eleven and Uncle John’s.
The newly opened restaurant offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy great food, exceptional craft beer, and a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process—all in one destination.
